abstract The invention relates to an electrochemical generator comprising a first electrode covered by a passivation layer having a compound formed by the repetition of a unit of formula (7) in which n is an integer between 1 and 10, preferably between 1 and 4; R 1 and R 2 are identical or different and chosen independently from the group formed by -CH 2 - and a cyclic or acyclic, linear or branched alkyl chain; R 3 is chosen from the group formed by -CH 3 , a cyclic or acyclic, linear or branched alkyl chain and a group of formula (8) in which: A' is a monocyclic or polycyclic, aromatic hydrocarbon group, chosen from the group formed by phenyl, aryl groups and condensed, polyaromatic groups, these being optionally substituted; R 4 is chosen from the group formed by -CH 2 - and a cyclic or acyclic, linear or branched alkyl chain; and A is identical to or different from A'. The unit has no hydroxyl functions and is grafted onto the first electrode via group A, and when R 3 is a group of formula (8), via groups A and A'.
