This chromate-free coated metal plate has a coating film (α) containing an organic resin (A), silica particles (C), and polyolefin resin particles (D) on at least one surface of a metal plate. When considering the average particle size of the polyolefin resin particles (D) to be a µm and the thickness of the coating film (α) to be b µm, the relationships 0.5 ≤ a ≤ 3, 2 ≤ b ≤ 10, and 0.1 ≤ a/b ≤ 0.8 are satisfied, and the silica particles (C) include both spherical silica particles (C1) having an average particle size of 5-50 nm and spherical silica particles (C2) having an average particle size of 0.3-5 µm. The result is a low-cost, aesthetic, chromate-free coated metal plate having highly superior workability, corrosion resistance, damage resistance, and the like without including hexavalent chromium, which has a high environmental impact, |
