abstract A resin composite material which comprises a graphene structured carbon material dispersed in a synthetic resin and has high mechanical strength and a low linear expansion coefficient is provided, and a method for producing the resin composite material is also provided. The resin composite material includes the synthetic resin and the graphene structured carbon material dispersed in the synthetic resin, wherein the synthetic resin is grafted to the carbon material and the resin composite material has a carbon material grafting rate of 5 to 3,300 wt%. The method for manufacturing the resin composite material comprises: a step for preparing the resin composition including the synthetic resin and the graphene structured carbon material dispersed in the synthetic resin; and a step for grafting the synthetic resin to the carbon material at the same time as or after the aforementioned step.
