titleOfInvention | Method and installation for the industrial production of blocks, tablets and granulates from plant waste |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method and installation for the industrial production of blocks, tablets and granulates from plant waste, specifically olive bagasse and cork powder. The installation generally comprises a production line (5,6,8,9,14) controlled by an electronic control unit (15), in which the mixing system (5) homogeneously mixes the biomass to obtain the pulp; next, a system (6) for mechanically compressing the pulp acts in order to reduce the moisture content, and then the pulp is extruded (7) into the required shape (e.g. pellets or briquettes), the extruder (7) comprising a blade system for cutting the pieces of extruded pulp in order to produce the pellets or briquettes, which are obtained after drying in a continuous dryer (9), which includes a water‑vapour dissipation shaft. The invention further comprises the product resulting from said method and installation, generally in the form of blocks (briquettes), tablets or granulates (pellets). |
