abstract The present invention relates generally to massage devices, and in particular aspects to massage devices that incorporate a disk- shaped member having an outer annular surface for contacting and massaging the body of a massage recipient where the outer annular surface has a varying width around the disk-shaped member. As further background, several massage devices have been developed including some that incorporate a disk or disk-like member. Nevertheless, there remain needs for improved and/or alternative massage devices, as well as methods for preparing and utilizing the same. The present invention is addressed to those needs.
