Process and device for treating contaminated materiel, said materiel being thermally sensitive and/or thermally stable and/or of complex geometries, which are capable of synergistically using the variation in the causticity of a composition formed by carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) and caustic soda (sodium hydroxide (NaOH)) and the continuous regeneration of said composition by continuously separating the soluble and insoluble contaminants extracted by said composition, using filtration membranes, so as simultaneously to carry out operations of cleaning and inactivating all known types of infectious contaminants, including the most resistant ones, i.e. prions, without damaging the materiel. |
