abstract | The present invention discloses a traffic-control-based data transmission method, a traffic-control-based switch, a node server and a traffic-control-based communication system. The present invention solves the problem of current internet protocol (IP) networks being unable to ensure network transmission quality. The method includes: for each service request, the switch obtains traffic control information, which includes the transmission time interval and the transmission data size; the switch receives a data packet and puts it into a packet buffering queue; the switch polls the packet buffering queue, and fetches, according to the traffic control information, the packet from the packet buffering queue for transmission. The present invention enables accurate traffic control, is adaptable for multimedia transmission, and ensures transmission quality. |
