abstract |
Provided are: a heat fusion fiber having excellent heat resistance, flame retardancy and dimensional stability; a fiber structure body comprising the heat fusion fiber; and a molded article produced by fusing the fiber structure body and having excellent heat resistance.nThe heat fusion fiber is a fiber comprising (A) an amorphous polyester polymer which does not have a melting point substantially and (B) an amorphous polyether imide polymer, wherein the mixing ratio of these components ((A)/(B)) falls within the range from 5/95 to 95/5 (by weight), and the fiber has a single glass transition temperature ranging from 80 to 200˚C and is amorphous.nThe fiber structure body contains 10 wt% or more of the amorphous heat fusion fiber.nThe molded article is a heat-resistant molded article which contains at least a fiber structure body that contains 10 wt% or more of the amorphous heat fusion fiber, and which is produced by fusing the fiber structure body at a temperature equal to or higher than the glass transition temperature of the amorphous heat fusion fiber. |
