titleOfInvention Laser device for irradiating hard bodily tissue with a laser, method for operating said laser device, method for manufacturing acid-resistant hard bodily tissue, and acid-resistant hard bodily tissue
abstract Disclosed are a small, easy-to-use, low-cost laser device and the like, said laser device being capable of providing hard bodily tissue with acid resistance, wherein the output of the laser is low and the amount of heat applied to the hard bodily tissue and surrounding tissue is not excessively large. Said laser device, which uses a laser to irradiate hard bodily tissue that contains inorganic crystalline hydroxyapatite, is provided with: an emitter that emits said laser; a light-guiding means, one end of which is connected to the emitter and which guides the laser to the other end; an irradiator that is connected to the other end of the light-guiding means and irradiates the aforementioned hard bodily tissue with the laser; and an irradiation control means that controls the laser irradiation from the irradiator such that the output of the laser is no greater than 1.2 W, the power density is 0.8-12.0 W/cm², and the energy density is 1.7-50.0 J/cm².
