abstract | The present invention relates to an electrophoretic particle, and an electrophoretic medium and an electrophoretic display including the same, and more specifically, the electrophoretic particle of the present invention comprises: a binder resin which contains a main polymer chain and one or more ion couplers coupled on the main chain, wherein said polymer main chain has a particle form; coloring materials which are dispersed on said binder resin; electric charge regulators which are dispersed on said binder resin; and surfactants which are secondarily coupled with said ion couplers, wherein at least a portion of the surfactants secondarily coupled with the ion couplers on said polymer main chain is exposed to a particle surface. Since said electrophoretic particle has simple and easy fabrication steps with low inter-particle cohesion, said particle can show improved image stability and a fast response speed when being applied to an electrophoretic display, whereby the invention can be useful for industrial fields in relation to the fabrication of the electrophoretic display including the electrophoretic particle. |
