abstract |
Provided are means for efficiently obtaining a mammalian embryo having a high conception rate. A method for selecting a mammalian embryo obtained by in vitro culture from a fertilized egg comprises a step for selecting an embryo using two or more indicators selected from: the time from when fertilization takes place until a first cleavage is completed; the form at the stage after the first cleavage but before a second cleavage; the form at the stage after a third cleavage but before a fourth cleavage; and the amount of oxygen consumed at the early blastocyst stage, the blastocyst stage, or the hatched blastocyst stage. |
