Disclosed is a disintegrating compression molded article that has a favorable mouthfeel and taste in the oral cavity, excellent ability to be formed into a tablet, sufficient hardness such that problems such as turning into powder or chipping do not occur during the formulation process or during distribution, and favorable disintegration in the oral cavity, and that does not contain a high-performance disintegrant having restrictions on consumption. The compressed article having excellent disintegrating properties can be produced by means of including a starch and, as needed, crystalline cellulose or an inorganic powder, and then compression molding. The compression molded article can produce the disintegrating compression molded article that has excellent mouthfeel/taste, hardness, and disintegration, has no limitations on consumption, and is part of food applications. |
