| abstract |
A multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) configuration processing method and system are provided. The method includes: while sending a message to a radio network controller (RNC) through a Uu interface, a user equipment (UE) supporting MIMO capability carries a flag in the message, wherein the flag is used to indicate the frequency band supported by the UE on which the UE cannot configure MIMO; the RNC receives the message from the UE and allocates resources for the UE according to the flag in the message. According to the method and system, configuration flexibility is increased and system compatibility is improved. |
