Chimeric biomarker for the early diagnosis and immunotherapy of cancer |
abstract |
This invention refers to DNA and RNA molecules that encode fusion polypeptides containing or derived from the amino acid sequence called EASI- PRO which contains the sequence RTNKEASI. More specifically, the invention involves products of nucleic acids and polypeptides obtained as a result of alternative splicing mechanisms and compositions containing all or part of the EASI -PRO sequence. In addition, the invention refers to antibodies and oligonucleotides as tools for the detection of new markers to be used in the molecular diagnostics of cancer. Finally, the invention refers to anti-cancer vaccines based on the protein containing the EASI -PRO sequence and on the nucleic acid molecules described above, and to therapeutic antibodies and drugs intended to inhibit the function of this protein. |
