In an imaging space of a panoramic imaging apparatus, a phantom which is positioned on a predetermined tomographic plane and has a marker whereby known position information can be imaged by x-rays is disposed. Data of the transmission of x-rays from an x-ray source are collected by a detector to form a panoramic image. Information of the distance (Rs, Rd) between an x-ray tube and the detector and information of the height (B1) of the x-ray tube with respect to the detector are calculated from the known position information of the marker and the information of the position of the marker on the panoramic image. From the calculation results and the collected data, parameters (∆x/∆Fi, θ, ∆θ/∆Fi, D, A, CX, CY) for defining position relationships among the x-ray tube, the detector, and the tomographic plane, into which a position change amount of a line connecting the x-ray tube to the detector is incorporated, are calculated. As described above, the parameters for 3D image reconstruction are calibrated. |
