Aqueous pharmaceutical system for the administration of drugs to the nails. The present invention describes a topical preparation for the treatment of toenail and/or fingernail disorders, comprising an aqueous thermosensitive gel which at ambient temperature behaves as a solution and which, once applied to the nails, gellifies, forming a hydrated layer or film from which the active principles are released. The composition of the gel principally contains water, a polymer forming gels sensitive to temperature changes, solubilizing agents and promoters of the absorption and/or penetration of the active principle into the nail. |
