Disclosed is a method for producing a rigid foam synthetic resin that can produce a rigid foam synthetic resin having low polyol system liquid viscosity while using water as a foaming agent, excellent storage stability and superior adhesiveness and flame resistance. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing a rigid foam synthetic resin wherein a polyol mixture (P), which contains a polyol (A) and a polyol (B), and a polyisocyanate compound (I) are reacted in the presence of a foaming agent that contains water, catalyst, foam stabilizer and flame retardant. Polyol (A) is a polyether polyol with a hydroxyl value of 56 - 250 mg KOH/g, obtained by ring-opening addition polymerization of an alkylene oxide to a bisphenol compound. Polyol (A) is a polyether polyol with a hydroxyl value of 100 - 800 mg KOH/g, obtained by ring-opening addition polymerization of an alkylene oxide to a Mannich condensation product. |
