abstract Degenerated oligonucleotides with sequences presented in Fig. 1, Fig. 2. and Fig. 3. Method of molecular identification of ureolytic bacteria is characteristic of the amplification of conservative fragments of urease genes from different organisms using degenerated oligonucleotides, which are designed on the basis of urease gene alignments, as PCR primers. Next, the amplified fragments are analyzed with known methods by restriction fragment length polymorphism or sequencing, and the results are compared with the patterns. Degenerated oligonucleotides used as PCR primers complementary to the conservative fragments of urease genes from different organisms are characteristic of sequences presented in Fig. 1 and/or Fig. 2. and/or Fig. 3.
