abstract Disclosed is a microfluidic device for isolating targets from a sample and a method for isolating targets using same. The microfluidic device of the present invention comprises a first filtering unit, a carrier fluid supply unit, and a second filtering unit. The first filtering unit is provided such that a filter surface having a plurality of different types of targets filtered is facing the opposite direction from the filtering direction. The carrier fluid supply unit is provided upstream of the first filtering unit, and supplies to the first filtering unit a carrier fluid that transports the plurality of different types of targets to downstream. The second filtering unit is provided downstream of the first filtering unit, and receives the plurality of different types of targets from the first filtering unit filtering same. The method for isolating targets according to the present invention uses pre-processing to remove non-targets from a plurality of non-targets and the plurality of different types of targets included in the sample, and uses post-processing to isolate the targets obtained in the pre-processing.
