abstract Disclosed is a method for producing an organopolysiloxane compound in which a poly(N-acylalkyleneimine) segment that is composed of a repeating unit represented by general formula (1) is bonded to an end and/or a side chain of an organopolysiloxane segment. The method for producing an organopolysiloxane compound comprises: (a) a step wherein a terminally reactive poly(N-acylalkyleneimine) solution is prepared by carrying out a ring-opening polymerization of a cyclic imino ether compound represented by general formula (I) in a solvent; (b) a step wherein a modified organopolysiloxane solution is prepared by mixing a modified organopolysiloxane, which has an amino group at an end and/or a side chain of the molecular chain, with a solvent; (c) a step wherein the terminally reactive poly(N-acylalkyleneimine) solution obtained in step (a) and the modified organopolysiloxane solution obtained in step (b) are mixed together so as to cause the amino group of the modified organopolysiloxane and the terminally reactive poly(N-acylalkyleneimine) to react with each other; (d) a step wherein a basic substance is added to the reaction product obtained in the step (c); and (e) a step wherein the solvent is removed at a temperature of 100-200˚C after the addition of step (d).n(In the formulae, R 1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-22 carbon atoms, an aralkyl group or an aryl group; and n represents 2 or 3.)
