abstract The present invention relates to a magnetic resonance imaging contrast agent surface-coated with a polymer which has high stability in the body and biocompatibility, and more specifically, to a superparamagnetic magnetic resonance imaging contrast agent coated with a polymer having a mannose-modified terminal which can be used for enhancing the contrast of images in lymphography, and a preparation method thereof. The superparamagnetic magnetic resonance imaging contrast agent coated with a polymer having a mannose-modified terminal according to the present invention can provide high stability in the body and biocompatibility and can be used for easy diagnosis of the metastasis of cancer to lymph nodes.
