abstract The disclosed device is provided with; a conveyance device (15) that conveys a plastic lens in the state of the surface to be dyed being exposed; and a modification device (21) that is disposed at a position that faces the aforementioned surface to be dyed, and that performs a modification treatment that increases the wettability of the surface to be dyed. The device is provided with a dye spraying device (22) that is disposed—at a position facing the aforementioned surface to be dyed—on the downstream side along the conveyance path of the conveyance device (15) from the aforementioned modification device, and that launches dye particles to the aforementioned surface to be dyed, causing the particles to adhere.
