abstract The present invention provides a base station and a method for calibrating channels of the base station with multiple antennas. The method comprises that the base station transmits multiple groups of data to a terminal by at least two antennas, and the multiple groups of data are the data processed by weighting a group of detection data respectively using different weighting parameters; feedback information transmitted after the terminal checking each group of data is received; a group of weighting parameters are selected from multiple groups of weighting parameters according to the feedback information, and the channel calibration parameters between the at least two antennas of the base station are acquired; and the channels between the at least two antennas of the base station are calibrated using the channel calibration parameters. The base station comprises a transmission module, a reception module, an acquisition module and a calibration module.
