The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery, a cathode active material and a cathode for same, and manufacturing methods therefor, which can provide a cathode active material having high energy density for the lithium secondary battery cathode, said material formed from primary particles of a compound represented by LiMO2 that have diameters of 0.1-1μm, and which includes secondary particles that diameters of 20-60μm, thereby enabling the manufacturing of the lithium secondary battery with superior cycling capacity.
