abstract | The invention relates to a method for producing silaoxacyclen of the general formula (I), in which compounds of the general formula R 1 -C(=0)-[0-CH 2 -Si(R 2 ) 2 ] n -OR 3 (II), are reacted in the presence of acid catalyst and alcohol A, wherein 0,01 to 7 mol equivalent alcoholic OH-groups of the alcohol A to 1 mol equivalent of [0-CH 2 -Si (R 2 ) 2 ] units of the general formula II are used and the isolation of the silaoxacyclen of the general formula (I) is carried out following removal of the acid catalyst, where x, n, R 1 , R 2 and R 3 have the meanings indicated in claim 1. |
