abstract The invention relates to a method for producing an analytical test element (2), in particular a test element for in vitro diagnostics, wherein the method comprises the following steps: producing a test substrate (3), producing an analytical test field (4) on the test substrate (3) and arranging a fluorescent calibrating element (1) on the test substrate. The fluorescent calibrating element (1) is formed as an injection-moulded part having a matrix made of a plastics material having fluorescent particles embedded therein, by injecting an injection moulding material comprising plasticised plastics material having fluorescent particles embedded therein into an injection mould that shapes the fluorescent calibrating element, and cooling said fluorescent calibrating element therein. The invention further relates to an analytical test element (2) and to an analytical test system and to the use of the analytical test element (2).
