abstract |
The present invention relates to a conditionally replication-competent adenovirus used in the prophylaxis or treatment of a cancerous disease of a novel type, and more specifically relates to: a conditionally replication-competent adenovirus used in the prophylaxis or treatment of a cancerous disease, comprising a target-specific promoter and adenovirus genes lacking a region of all parts or some parts of E4 orf 1, 2, 3 and 4; a host cell into which the conditionally replication-competent adenovirus has been introduced; a method for producing the conditionally replication-competent adenovirus; a composition for the prophylaxis or treatment of a cancerous disease, comprising the conditionally replication-competent adenovirus; a method for the prophylaxis or treatment of a cancerous disease, comprising the step of administering the composition to an individual; and a use for the conditionally replication-competent adenovirus in the prophylaxis or treatment of a cancerous disease. |
