titleOfInvention Chip for separating blood cells
abstract Disclosed is a blood cell separation chip that separates plasma from blood using capillary force while preventing blood leakage in unwanted directions. The present invention comprises: an upper substrate which fixes a membrane in such a manner that one or more of the edges do not come into contact, and is provided with a part of a channel for providing a path that enables the plasma component separated from the blood using the membrane to move in one direction; and a blood cell separation chip, which joins with the upper substrate to form the other part of the channel, and includes a lower substrate, which enables the plasma to move along the channel by capillary force, at the location that corresponds to one side of the lower surface of the membrane, and such features enable the prevention of loaded blood leaking in unwanted directions by ensuring the least amount of contact possible between each of the edges of the membrane and the structure that joins the upper substrate and the lower substrate.
