Paste for electron emitting source, electron emitting source and electron emitting element each comprising same, and process for production of same |
abstract |
Disclosed is a paste for an electron emitting source, which comprises (A) an electron emitting material, (B) a thermally degradable foaming agent and (C) a component capable of generating a shrinkage stress upon being thermally degraded, or comprises (A) an electron emitting material and (D) a thermal polymerization initiator that can act as a thermally degradable foaming agent and has an ethylenically unsaturated group. The above-mentioned paste composition can cause cracking on the surface of an electron emitting source. Therefore, the use of the paste composition enables the elimination of an activation treatment step for allowing carbon nanotubes to be exposed on the surface of the electron emitting source, and also enables the production of an electron emitting source that can emit electrons at a low voltage and can achieve homogeneous light emission. |
