abstract | Disclosed is an electrophysiological measurement device which measures the electrophysiological response of a cell when a stimulus is applied to the cell, wherein the electrophysiological measurement device comprises: a membrane potential measurement means which continuously measures the membrane potential of a sample cell; a concentration measurement means which continuously measures the concentration of a substance that participates in an electrophysiological response within the sample cell; a membrane current calculation means which calculates membrane current from the membrane potential of the sample cell and the concentration of the substance that participates in the electrophysiological response, in accordance with a mathematical model including a plurality of parameters in relation to membrane currents of cell membranes; and a current injection means which injects the calculated membrane current in real time into the sample cell. |
