titleOfInvention | Chemically coupled pvc perfluoropolymer material, method for producing same and use thereof |
abstract | The invention relates to the chemical field and relates to chemically coupled PVC perfluoropolymer materials such as those which are used, for example, for applications with tribological requirements in mechanical engineering (specifically for device and housing construction). The aim of the invention is to provide a chemically coupled PVC perfluoropolymer material which has improved tribological properties, in particular with respect to sliding friction and wear. The aim is achieved by a chemically coupled PVC perfluoropolymer material, consisting of modified perfluoropolymer powder particles, on the surfaces of which PVC and/or PVC copolymers in a melt are chemically coupled by covalent bonds by means of a reactive conversion. The aim is further achieved by a method for producing chemically coupled PVC perfluoropolymer materials, in which perfluoropolymer powder in a melt is reacted with reactive perfluoroalkyl-(peroxy-)radical and functional groups in the form of carboxylate groups and/or carboxylic acid fluoride groups and/or carboxylic acid groups, which are activated prior to or during the reactive conversion, together with at least PVC. |
