abstract |
Disclosed is a process for producing an article having a finely rugged structure on a surface thereof, the process comprising the following steps (i) to (iii), in which the mold comprises TiO 2 -containing quartz glass and at least the step (i) is conducted in a helium gas atmosphere. Step (i) in which a photocurable composition is sandwiched between a mold having, on the surface thereof, a structure that is reverse to a finely rugged structure and a substrate so that the composition is in contact with the surface having the reverse structure; step (ii) in which light is irradiated upon the photocurable composition while keeping the photocurable composition sandwiched between the mold and the substrate, and the photocurable composition is cured to give a cured object; and step (iii) in which the mold is separated from the cured object to obtain an article comprising the substrate and, formed on a surface of the substrate, the cured object having the finely rugged structure on the surface thereof. |
