abstract The invention relates to a molecular analysis system (1) which includes a confocal microscopy device (2) provided with an illuminating means (20) arranged to excite the molecules, and a device with correlated images (7) of spectrum and lifetime of the fluorescence emitted by the excited molecules. Said system also includes a device for spectroscopy by correlation (5; 6) of the fluorescence emitted by the excited molecules, suitable for switching with the correlated image device (7) in order to take simultaneous measurements of correlated images and spectroscopy, as well as a control device (8) arranged such that the data from said correlated image device (7) are used for adjusting the data from the device for spectroscopy by correlation (5; 6). The invention also relates to a molecular analysis method implementing such a system (1).
