titleOfInvention Treatment device for endoscope
abstract A treatment device (1) for an endoscope, provided with: an operation wire (3) which has a treatment section (2) at the front end thereof and can be advanced and retracted; a first sheath (4) through which the operation wire (3) is inserted; a second sheath (5) into which the first sheath (4) is inserted and from the front end of which the treatment section (2) protrudes; an engagement section (12) which is provided to the treatment section (2) and is advanced and retracted as the operation wire (3) is advanced and retracted; a first stopper (17) which restricts the advance movement of the engagement section (12); a second stopper (20) which restricts the retraction movement of the engagement section (12); and a sheath operation section which advances and retracts the second sheath (5) between a first positional relationship and a second positional relationship so that, when having the first positional relationship and the second positional relationship, the second sheath (5) has different positions relative to the first sheath (4) in the axial direction.
