abstract |
Disclosed is a method for producing a polypeptide derivative whereby decomposition caused by cleavage by the autolysis-accelerating mechanism of a peptide main chain is prevented. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing a polypeptide derivative, wherein at least a part of the main chain comprises a peptide chain and said peptide chain can be cleaved in a mild environment, characterized in that a process for synthesizing a starting compound and/or a process for purifying the polypeptide derivative obtained after the synthesis are conducted under temperature conditions at 20oC or lower. |
