abstract Urethane (meth)acrylate radiation curable coating compositions for coating the exterior surfaces of an aircraft are described and claimed. Certain of these compositions can be cured by exposure to light from ultraviolet mercury lamps. Others of these compositions can be cured by exposure to light for LEDs. The liquid radiation curable coatings have a viscosity between about 100 mPa-s and about 2500 mPa-s; and a cured film of the radiation curable coating has a tensile Modulus or Equilibrium Modulus of between about 100 MPa and about 650 MPa; an Elongation at break of between about 10% and about 30%; and a Pencil Hardness of between about B and F.
