A recombinant a/astanarg/6:2/2009 m-12-09/d flu virus strain produced by a reverse genetics method from a highly pathogenic donor strain a/chicken/astana/6/05 (h5n1) and a highly reproductive donor strain a/puerto rico/8/34 (h1n1) from the orthomyxoviridae family of the genus influenza virus type a which is deposited in the microorganism collection of the science committee at the ministry of education and science of the republic of kazakhstan state enterprise subsidiary of the scientific research institute for biological safety problems at the republican state enterprise of the national centre for biotechnology of the republic of kazakhstan and can be used in biotechnology for the production of diagnostic and vaccine preparations against a/h5n1 flu |
abstract |
The invention relates to the field of biotechnology and gene engineering. The recombinant A/AstanaRG/6:2/2009 M-12-09/D flu virus strain is produced by a reverse genetics method from the strains A/chicken/Astana/6/05 (H5N1) and A/Puerto Rico/8/34 (H1N1) from the Orthomyxoviridae family of the genus Influenza virus type A. The strain, which has low virulence and high reproductive activity, is used for producing diagnostic and vaccine preparations against A/H5N1 flu. The activity of the recombinant A/AstanaRG/5:3/2009 flu virus strain in serological reactions is 1:2-1:4 in a diffusion precipitation reaction, 1:60-1:80 in a hemagglutination-inhibition test and 1:1280 in immunofluorescent analysis. |
