abstract The present invention relates to a composition for analyzing the pluripotency of pig stem cells, containing an agent for measuring the expression level of pig NANOG protein, as well as to a method for analyzing the pluripotency of pig stem cells, including a step of detecting the expression of a NANOG gene in pig cells. The present invention may be useful as markers with which species-specific pluripotency can be detected, as opposed to conventional embryonic stem cell markers such as STATs, LIF, and OCT4.
