abstract Provided is a cleanser composition containing water and a surfactant. The surfactant constitutes between 0.4% and 12% of the cleanser composition by mass. The viscosity of the cleanser composition is between 5 mPa·s and 1,500 mPa·s at 30°C. When foam is generated by mixing air into the cleanser composition, the viscosity of the foam after 10 seconds is between 40 mPa·s and 100 mPa·s at 30°C and the mean diameter of bubbles in the foam after 30 seconds is between 10 µm and 100 µm.
