titleOfInvention Method for assembling two silicon nitride parts in a fluid-tight manner
abstract The invention relates to a method for assembling two parts (10, 30) made of Si 3 N 4 in a fluid-tight manner, said two parts comprising a male end (11) and a female end (31), respectively, each of said ends being provided with mechanical assembly means (14, 34) designed to engage one with the other and defining, in the assembled condition, a space (42) therebetween, said method including the assembly of said parts by means of the engagement of the mechanical assembly means of the males and female ends, and the filling of the space existing between said assembly means with a glass seal, and the method is characterized in that the filling process comprises: coating the mechanical assembly means of one and/or the other assembly means of the male and female ends, before assembly, with a borosilicate glass paste; and applying a thermal treatment to the parts after the assembly thereof.
