titleOfInvention Viral vectors and methods used in the preparation of gdnf
abstract The invention relates to a method for the production and purification of recombinant human GDNF or a functionally equivalent variant thereof, using eukaryotic cells that contain an alphavirus vector comprising a sequence encoding recombinant human GDNF or a functionally equivalent variant thereof, operably linked to the subgenomic promoter which directs the expression of the protein in a suitable expression host. The invention also relates to alphavirus vectors and eukaryotic cells containing said alphavirus vectors.
