titleOfInvention Wireless communication system, base station thereof, and symbol transmission method
abstract The invention provides a wireless communication system, and a method for transmitting symbols by base stations of a plurality of cells to a user terminal in a Coordinated Multi-point transmission manner. The method comprises loading, in the base stations of respective cells, symbols to orthogonal frequency division multiplexing subcarriers in a coding manner of space frequency block code; performing a cyclic delay operation on the symbols loaded to the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing subcarriers among corresponding transmit antennas of the base stations of respective cells; and transmitting the symbols subjected to the cyclic delay operation to the user terminal in the Coordinated Multi-point transmission manner. When the loading is performed, successive symbols are loaded to subcarriers with low correlation, and meanwhile pairs of symbols encoded according to space frequency block code are loaded to two subcarriers with high correlation. This method is not affected by the number of cells, and keeps consistent with the technology in Version Rel-8 of LTE standards, and may provide an enhanced frequency diversity gain of a plurality of cell base station.
