Provided is an organic functional material that solves the problems of property instability and toxicity that organic ultraviolet absorbers have, and in comparison to oxide semiconductors, is more weather-resistant with respect to sunlight, has a greater optical conversion effect, and has a greater hyperthermic effect. Also provided is a product using said material. The provided organic functional material comprises an organic macromolecular film, fiber, or organic resin that contains nanodiamond semiconductor particles having an activation energy level between 0.2 eV and 1.0 eV. The weather-resistance and optical conversion effect of the provided organic functional material, or the product using said material, are improved because of the ultraviolet absorption effect of carrier excitation of the nanodiamond semiconductor particles and because of infrared radiation due to the excited carriers returning to their ground state. |
