abstract | Methods for generating a prognostic signature for a subject with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) are disclosed. In some embodiments, the methods include determining expression levels for one or more genes selected from among Fos B, KLF6, NFKBIZ, ATP4A, GSG1 , and SIGLEC11 in PDAC cells obtained from the subject, wherein the determining provides a prognostic signature for the subject. Also disclosed are methods for assessing risk of an adverse outcome of a subject with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), methods for predicting a clinical outcome of a treatment in a subject diagnosed with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), methods for predicting a positive or a negative clinical response of a subject with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) to a treatment, and arrays for use in the disclosed methods. |
