The invention relates to a novel method for producing gadobutrol, which provides the target compound at a high yield and purity starting from N-(6-hydroxy-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxepan-5-yl)-1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-lithium complex in a one-pot process, without intermediate isolation or intermediate purification of intermediates, by means of dialysis using ceramic membranes. |
