abstract |
Disclosed is a heat ray shielding composition which is characterized by containing an indium tin oxide powder that has a BET specific surface area of not less than 40 m 2 /g and a deep blue color tone (L = 30 or less, a < 0 and b < 0 in the Lab color system). It is preferable for the heat ray shielding composition that the ITO powder contained in the composition is obtained by firing an indium tin hydroxide that has a color tone from bright golden yellow to yellowish brown for surface modification or by surface-modifying an ITO that has a color tone from bright golden yellow to yellowish brown. Also disclosed is a method for producing the heat ray shielding composition. |
