abstract |
A method of molybdenum refining is provided, the method enabling high-purity molybdenum to be easily obtained in a high yield. The method of molybdenum refining is characterized by including a step in which molybdenum ore or a molybdenum concentrate each containing molybdenum sulfide is mixed with an oxidizing agent and with an alkali metal salt or alkaline-earth metal salt, and the mixture is pulverized to thereby yield the alkali metal salt or alkaline-earth metal salt of molybdic acid from the molybdenum sulfide. |
