Provided is a power supply system for a vehicle, wherein the amount of charge of a first electric storage device is increased by enabling the large change of the generation power of a power generator by suppressing a reduction in the life of the first electric storage device to thereby implement the regeneration of braking energy of the vehicle and the improvement of fuel efficiency of the vehicle. A first DC/DC converter (12) is connected to a high-voltage-side output terminal (7a) of a rectifier (7) via a generator-side line (18a), and a battery (14) for supplying power to an in-vehicle load (15) is connected to the first DC/DC converter (12). A second DC/DC converter (13) is connected to the high-voltage-side output terminal (7a) of the rectifier (7) via the generator-side line (18a), and an electric double layer capacitor (16) is connected to the second DC/DC converter (12). |
