titleOfInvention Speech generation device with oled display
abstract A speech generation device including an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display is disclosed. The speech generation device may generally include a computing device including a processor and a related computer-readable medium storing instructions executable by the processor, and a display device comprising an organic light-emitting diode display, wherein said display device is configured to display a message window containing messages, and wherein the instructions stored on the computer-readable medium configure the speech generation device to generate electronic text-to-speech output based on the messages contained within the message window. In some embodiments, the OLED display is formed as a substantially transparent display. In other embodiments, the OLED display is formed as part of a head-mounted display integrated with an item (e.g., helmet, glasses) able to be worn securely adjacent to a user's head.
