Honeycomb filter |
abstract |
Disclosed is a honeycomb filter which is capable of exhibiting a high particulate matter (PM) collecting performance, while having a high NOx removal efficiency even after repeated regeneration treatments. Specifically disclosed is a honeycomb filter which comprises: a honeycomb structure in which a plurality of cells are arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction and separated from one another by cell walls, with each cell being sealed at one end; and a zeolite which is supported by the cell walls of the honeycomb structure. The honeycomb filter is characterized in that the honeycomb structure is formed to contain silicon carbide, and has a porosity of 55-65%. The honeycomb filter is also characterized in that the amount of zeolite supported by the cell walls is 80-150 g/L, and the thermal conductivity coefficient of the cell walls on which the zeolite is supported is not less than 3 W/mK. |
